How Can I Get Involved?
There are three main ways you can be involved:
So, What Is So Different About Us…
TEAM PARITY
We have learned that it is important to keep parity within the teams of a division. When teams are allowed to fully build their squad it can create an unbalanced environment, if not monitored. Players are drafted each season to their respective teams to efficiently “spread out the talent." We make significant efforts to honor special requests regarding coach and player requests, however, there are NO GUARANTEES that a player will be placed where requested. Extenuating circumstances will be evaluated on a case by case basis should a player require placement with a coach or player.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When Can I Register?
Registration for the SPRING baseball season OPENS January 1st
Registration for the FALL baseball season OPENS in August.
Once registration ends, if there are any spots left open, we will add players until the teams are full, but there are no guarantees. Note: There will be a $10 late fee added to the registration.
What Are the Evaluations /Tryouts?
Each season players are REQUIRED to attend a Player Evaluation/ Tryout. In order for a player to participate in a division their known or demonstrated skillset must match that of the division in which they are participating. No players will be denied placement on a WBA team ,however, players must demonstrate sufficient proficiency to advance to the next division of play. Once declared eligible for a division by the league based on skillset, players will be drafted by head coaches in each division. Evaluations/ Tryouts give the coaches a chance to assess a players skill level, place them in the proper division, and determine when that player will be drafted to even out the teams for the well-balanced and competitive season.
Evaluations are held for EACH SEASON! Two tryout dates are available. You will only need to pick one date to attend the evaluation. Times will be according to age.
